I wrote “Vaquero” with my brothers Daniel Wilson and Joseph Patton. I friggin love this song, but TBH I never thought anyone would record a 6/8 time western song about the last cowboy. What a lesson in writing songs for how they make you feel, and not for how you think they’ll be received. Thank you Midland for putting it into the world. 🤘🏻🤟🏻🤠
