Thank you as well to everyone who stopped by the OGO stand to connect with our Senior Geophysical Advisor, Alvaro Chaveste, and to those who attended his talks. Alvaro shared a new methodology that uses machine learning (ML) to assign probabilities to lithofacies using seismic and well data. This technique is proving to be faster and more economical than traditional seismic inversion. As you can see, his talk was a big hit! 🎉

Sharing her extensive experience as an interpreter, Ms. Sacrey will connect the history of disruptive technologies in geoscience with the newest machine learning workflows. She will also show how fault probability volumes and neural classification of seismic attributes are used together to better analyze complex reservoir intervals.

Our team will be available during the event at the Geophysical Insights booth to answer questions, talk through the technology, and share more examples of AI/ML applications for seismic interpretation.
