In the moment, it’s easy to say the thing that feels strongest.

When it comes out naturally, it can still mean that there’s more to be heard, and pausing can really help with that.

Getting honest with yourself and sharing from that place creates the possibility for connection.

Meet Allison!

“I often work with people who look like they have it all together on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, or carrying more than they let on.”

Allison works with thoughtful, high-functioning adults who find themselves caught in patterns like overthinking, people-pleasing, or feeling responsible for keeping the peace.

In a therapeutic space where you’re truly understood, you don’t have to keep holding everything together on your own. It’s all about slowing down, getting to know patterns, and responding in a way that really feels like you.

It’s one thing to notice the pattern and another to know what to do when you’re actually in it.

In the moment, it doesn’t always feel like “a dynamic”... it feels like frustration, defensiveness, wanting to be understood.

That’s usually when old habits take over. This is a time to catch the moment just early enough to try something different.

If you and your partner keep having the same argument and it never actually gets resolved, the problem probably isn’t the argument.

It’s that somewhere along the way, conflict started feeling like a competition. When that happens, apologizing starts to feel like losing so nobody does it, and as a result nothing really changes.

We see this a lot, actually. Two people who genuinely love each other get completely stuck, because being understood has started to matter more than actually connecting.

Here’s what we know to be true, though: Blame keeps you in the loop and curiosity is what breaks it.

Does this resonate with where you are right now? Share this with someone who needs to hear it.

Liz helps teens and adults make sense of what’s actually getting in the way of rest, instead of relying on endless tips or quick fixes. She focuses on practical, sustainable changes that support both your body and your mind.

Her work is shaped not just by training, but by personal experience navigating sleep challenges herself, which brings a level of understanding that many people haven’t felt before.

If sleep has been affecting how you feel during the day, this is a space where you can slow it down, understand it, and approach it differently, without pressure.

When sleep feels off, it’s tempting to search for the perfect routine or quick fix.

Instead of more rules or more to think about, let’s understand more of what’s getting in the way in the first place. Here are a few places to start thinking about:

- What time does my mind feel the most active at night?
- What thoughts tend to show up when I try to fall asleep?
- What does my body feel like, tense, wired, restless, heavy?
- What am I carrying from the day that hasn’t settled yet?

Sometimes sleep struggles aren’t just about sleep. They can be connected to stress, anxiety, or patterns your body has learned over time.

These are a few ways to approach sleep that truly support your mind, instead of fighting against it.

We want to extend this invitation for some grace, and also validate how frustrating it can feel when you’re not able to get the quality rest you want.

Whether it’s insomnia, an active mind at night, or a schedule that’s making sleep feel like a battle, we’re here to support you.

Sleep doesn’t have to be something you tackle alone.

Many of the people I work with have had to navigate environments where they didn’t feel fully seen or understood—because of their neurodivergence, cultural identity, or simply the complexity of who they are.

I have a deep passion for working with multiracial and multicultural couples as they navigate identity, belonging, and communication. I also support LGBTQ+ and non-traditional partnerships that want to strengthen connection and understanding in their relationships.

Reaching out for support takes more courage than most people give themselves credit for. Whether you’re going through a life change, feeling stuck in anxiety or burnout, or trying to understand why your motivation has disappeared, I’m here to help you slow down and sort through what’s going on underneath the surface.

Getting curious about anger can tell you so much. Even just noticing that there’s more of a story there can shift the way you relate to the feeling, and to yourself.

Taking that lens of curiosity is what can help make compassion feel more natural and accessible, so you can tend to anything below the surface of it all in new ways.
