Solstice Farms

It is time to introduce you to another horse at Bluebonnet, another horse your donations support.
Meet Cruising Down Daisy. She's a 16 year old, 16.2 hh, Thoroughbred mare who came to us as a transfer from another rescue. The goal was for her to be in the Training Challenge, but she started having some behavioral problems during training and we discovered some mild lameness. She's been seen by a lameness vet, she's got shoes on now for support, and she's had time off before going back to work.
We're disappointed she couldn't be in the Challenge and adopted already, but sometimes horses don't follow our plans. And we're ok with being flexible - the most important thing is making sure she's healthy and happy before going back to work!
Your donation helps with her feed, hay, farrier, and veterinary expenses. And both Daisy and all of us at Bluebonnet apprecaite the support!
