Adoption Spotlight: Luna ☀️🐾

Luna’s story began in a heat distress case, where she was rescued as a vulnerable six-month-old puppy in need of urgent care. Thanks to the swift response and medical attention at the Houston SPCA, she was given a second chance.

Today, Luna is thriving. She’s affectionate, mischievous, full of life, and keeps her family on their toes with plenty of walks and playtime. She’s also found her best friend in her sister, Roxie, and has truly become the heart of their home. 💙

Her journey is a reminder that every animal deserves a second chance, and sometimes the ones you least expect become the ones you need most.

As temperatures rise, Luna’s story is also an important reminder: heat can be deadly for pets. Always provide fresh water, shade, and never leave animals outside without proper care. If you see a pet in distress, act quickly, it could save a life.
