For more than 30 years, AFA has been proud to make music education accessible to young musicians across Houston. 🎶💙
Each year, we serve more than 3,300 students through programs that inspire creativity, build confidence, and create meaningful opportunities to learn and grow through music.
From classrooms to stages, we’re grateful to continue building a community where every young musician has the opportunity to find their place in music.

It’s National Arts in Education Week — tell Congress arts education can’t wait.
This week, we’re calling on Congress to fully fund arts education’s five federal funding streams, maintain funding for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and protect access to the arts for every student in every community, from preK-12 through higher education. 🎶
Arts education shapes creative thinkers, strengthens communities, and opens doors for the next generation. Join us in urging lawmakers to invest in the future of the arts. ✊
