October's birthstone is opal. I just added this sparkling boulder opal to my inventory at the Artisan Craft Boutique. 119 FM 1463, next to the Ya Ya Boutique and across from Katy Highschool in old Katy.

These are the pieces I am taking to The Artisan's Boutique in Katy this AM. Included are a pendant of Maramamba tiger eye plus earrings, a Peruvian opal pendant, a boulder opal, a lovely piece of Turquoise and a mixed metal neck wire. In honor of my retirement from jewelry crafting these pieces are priced 50% off.

Another pair of beautiful stones set in time for the Tri States Quilt show this Friday and Saturday!!!

I was glad to go to the gem and jewelry show this year. Purchased some beautiful earring pairs from Joe Jelks of Horizon Minerals. Primarily Indonesian Bacan Island stones like these.
