Please join us in prayer for our South Africa Mission Team! Several team members are already there, several more are traveling today, and Pastor Jason leaves Sunday after the service to join the team.

Together, they will serve alongside Northpoint City Church during the annual Gospel Partnership Conference, where Pastors and leaders from across southern Africa will gather for several days of teaching, encouragement, and outreach through hospital visits, prison ministry, and sports camps.

We’ve prepared daily prayer points covering the entire trip from today through July 5th. Please continue to pray faithfully for:

* safety in travel and ministry
* unity and strength for the team
* open hearts across every place they serve
* boldness, discernment, and clarity in sharing the Gospel
* lasting impact on churches and communities

Thank you for praying! We can’t wait to hear all of the stories of God’s faithfulness over this team and their time there. 🇿🇦

Day 1 is today, so let’s cover them with prayer!

(Not all of our team is pictured here, but please pray for Pastor Jan and his family, as well as Marla, and a few teens and kids who are also going.)

Another beautiful Sunday at Grace!

Just as we were reminded in Acts 20 this week, “it is more blessed to give than to receive,” following Jesus means holding our plans loosely, and celebrating when God calls people into new places of ministry and mission. Being a church on mission means both welcoming new people, and prayerfully sending out beloved friend—sharing in the joy of new beginnings and the heartache of goodbyes, but always trusting that God is at work in every season and thankful for each and every moment.

Through it all, our mission remains the same: “to testify to the good news of God’s grace.” (Acts 20:24) May we be a church marked by both witness and wonder—joyfully welcoming, faithfully sending, and continually participating in God’s mission of grace.

“Even though Paul is such a great example of a Christian humbling himself and emptying himself, our goal is not to be like Paul. Our goal is to be like the one that Paul is following. Our goal is to be like Jesus.” - Phil Baker, Associate Pastor
