After delays from its original 2024 opening, the simulated surfing experience in Generation Park now has a projected 2028 debut. The venue will offer ocean-like waves tailored to different skill levels, training programs, a large beach area, and waterfront hospitality overlooking the 5.5-acre surf lagoon.

Two major hospital expansions are coming to the Clear Lake and League City area. 🏥

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is adding 120 new beds across neurosciences, oncology and medical-surgical units, while UTMB League City's $300 million project will bring a 40-bed emergency department and expanded services by 2030.

The Conroe ISD board of trustees approved a 2026-27 employee compensation plan that includes pay raises for teachers at specific experience levels. 📚

Certified teachers with three years of experience will receive a $400 raise, and those with five years will see a $2,500 increase. The district says funding limitations prevented across-the-board raises this year, but they will continue exploring future compensation opportunities.
