Marina joined Halliburton nearly 20 years ago as an associated technical professional and has grown her career into a role supporting complex operations across the Caspian East region. Inspired by a multigenerational oilfield family, she built her path through continuous learning, mentorship, and a passion for empowering others.
Today, Marina fosters innovation by encouraging teams to challenge processes, collaborate across functions, and test new ideas in a supportive environment. At Offshore Technology Conference Asia, discussions reinforced a shared priority: aligning on common objectives early to deliver stronger decisions and long-term value. Digital capabilities play a critical role in strengthening readiness and supporting disciplined ex*****on at scale.
Notable discussions and developments included:
• Customers underscored the importance of transparent communication to support consistent performance across offshore operations.
• Shannon Slocum, executive vice president and chief operating officer, shared leadership perspectives on decision-making in complex and demanding environments.
• A strategic collaboration was announced with PETRONAS and Valaris Limited to advance offshore development through integrated planning and high-quality ex*****on.

Fourteen years ago, Jorge Clemente walked into Halliburton as an intern, beginning a journey that would span continents and disciplines.
From his start in drilling repair and maintenance to his current role as an electrical mechanical technician III, his career has taken him to Angola, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, and Guyana. Each move added technical depth and global perspective.
With 14 years of experience, Jorge is motivated by diverse teams, complex projects, continuous learning, and the progress that comes from collaboration.
