Summer memories aren’t made scrolling at home.

They’re made covered in paint, trying new things, making friends, and proudly carrying projects out the door.

We have fun classes planned all summer long, but spots are limited and registration is required in advance.

Let’s make this a summer they’ll remember. ☀️

The goal isn’t to raise children who need applause for every step.

It’s to raise children who trust themselves.

Try swapping “Good job!” for observations this week and watch how differently your child responds.

One of the biggest Montessori myths?

“My child is too wild for Montessori.”

Montessori isn’t about making children sit still. It’s about giving them meaningful work.

When children are engaged in activities with real purpose, something amazing happens: they focus.

The goal isn’t a quiet child.
The goal is an engaged child.
And engaged children often surprise us. ❤️

Sometimes the best thing we can do is step back.

Don’t jump in. Don’t take over. Don’t fix it for them.

Just pause… and encourage.

Because when we stop interfering and start believing in them instead, something powerful happens: they figure it out, and confidence starts to grow right in front of us.

The kids are bored and understimulated and you’ve got 5 minutes to mix something up! Grab your flour, vegetable oil, some toys and a large bin! Mix in oil until the texture gets clumpy. Toddler safe and moms got a minute to breathe. If this screams stress to you, bring the kids by and we will clean up the mess 😂

Summer Fun starts and suddenly I’m Rocky. 🥊😂

• 500 “Watch this!”
• Endless science experiments
• Maximum chaos

Summer Fun Day 1 is in the books! ☀️

The children came ready to play, explore, learn, and test the structural integrity of every adult’s patience level. 😂

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us today and helped kick off an amazing summer season at Little Explorers Lab. We had so much fun creating, playing, and making memories together.

We also want to give a special thank you to Mrs Andrea Murillo for visiting us and reading her story ‘Daddy Caught the Sky’ to the children! 📚✨ They were completely engaged and loved hearing it straight from the author herself.

This summer isn’t about perfect schedules, expensive trips, or doing the most.
It’s about sticky popsicle hands, barefoot mornings, laughter echoing through the playroom, and letting kids just be little. ☀️

Childhood friendships… there’s something so sweet and important about them. We never seem to forget our early friends, do we? When nothing else matters in their world except friends, it’s something to hold on to. ❤️ Do you remember your childhood friends?

Every time we slow down enough to let them do it themselves, we’re quietly telling them:“You are capable.”

And children who grow up feeling capable become adults who believe in themselves. 🤍
