For more than 30 years, Kevin entertained, informed, and connected listeners across Texas radio ( 93Q Houston ). While many know him from his award-winning broadcasting career, we know him as the passionate heart behind Snowdrop Foundation. His voice has helped tell the stories of children battling pediatric cancer, inspired countless volunteers and donors, and encouraged thousands to join our mission of providing hope through scholarships and research.
This nomination is a wonderful recognition of a career built on serving others, both behind the microphone and beyond it.

Meet the incredible 2026–2027 Snowdrop Foundation Scholarship Class!
Each photo in this album represents a remarkable student whose journey has been marked by strength, perseverance, and hope. We are proud to support these incredible young men and women as they pursue their dreams.
Fun Facts About This Year's Scholars:
35 different states
76 Hospitals - This year's scholarship recipients were treated at approximately 76 different hospitals and pediatric cancer centers, representing the collaborative care, compassion, and hope that helped make their college dreams possible.
168 areas of study are represented.
57 scholars are pursuing nursing, health science, medicine, therapy, public health, or pre-med.
28 scholars are studying biology, biochemistry, ecology, agriculture, neuroscience, chemistry, or environmental sciences.
21 scholars are pursuing business, finance, accounting, management, or marketing.
21 scholars are entering engineering, technology, cybersecurity, automotive, aviation, welding, or construction fields.
Scholars are also pursuing creative fields including film, acting, musical theater, songwriting, harp performance, animation, audio engineering, journalism, and digital media.
Future educators are studying elementary education, early childhood education, special education, and child development.
Several scholars are pursuing futures in law, public policy, criminal justice, social work, and pastoral studies.
The class even includes future professionals in baking and pastry arts, culinary arts, and hospitality.
Unique majors include Wildlife Ecology, Marine Biology, Atmospheric Sciences, Geospatial Information Sciences.

Today we celebrated our 20th Scholarship Luncheon and all of scholarship recipients! This year, we awarded $257,700 to 168 childhood cancer patients and survivors. We are incredibly grateful for these students, our sponsors, volunteers, and supporters over the last 20 years to help us get this far. Congrats to all 168 of you! 💜🎗️
