What a week!

Our RT Level II class put in the work, and it showed.

This week wasn’t just about making exposures. Although we did a bunch of that!!

They learned how to think through the entire process. From set up and shooting techniques, to IQI selection, multi-load film calculations, and understanding attenuation by actually radiographing titanium and carbon steel weldments, along with aluminum castings.

They also learned profile techniques, ball placement and measurement, and even got hands-on experience changing and maintaining processing chemicals. That’s the kind of training that builds confidence in the field.

At the same time, our MT class was in full swing. Whether it was prods, cable wraps, or working the MT bench, these students jumped in and got after it. That’s exactly what we like to see.

A special shoutout to our newest instructor, LaShaun DeLeon , for sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of technicians. Having instructors who have actually lived it in the field makes all the difference.

This past weekend was busy—in the best way possible.

We had a hands-on PAUT class going, while others were in the NDT Gym putting in extra reps and sharpening their skills. Seeing people willingly give up part of their weekend to invest in themselves and become better technicians never gets old. That kind of dedication says a lot about where our industry is headed.

And we didn’t slow down when Monday rolled around. Today, we kicked off training with the next generation of RT technicians. Watching new talent come into the industry with a willingness to learn and grow is exciting, and it’s a reminder of how important training and mentorship are to the future of NDT.

The future is bright when people are willing to put in the work. 👊
