Why you SHOULDN'T seal those holes in your brick! 🚫🧱

During a recent inspection, we found these weep holes at the bottom of a brick veneer wall that had been sealed up. While it might seem like a good way to keep pests out, these holes are actually vital for your home’s health. 🏠

What do they do? Weep holes allow any moisture that gets behind the brick to "breathe" and drain out. When they're sealed, that moisture stays trapped, which can lead to mold or even structural damage over time.
