Crossover 2026 - that’s a wrap on another great year of Cub Scouts with Pack 1537! Final awards and rank badges were handed out, including official promotion to the next rank. A family pool party and ice cream were a fun way to celebrate the skills learned and friends made this year.

April Pack Meeting 🍿
We noticed our meeting location host Adam Elementary had a planter out front that needed refreshing. A scout is helpful and our Cubs were planting pros! Many of our scouts attend Adam and getting to help beautify their school is always worthwhile ❤️🦅
Our evening fun focused on team building games. Popcorn Toes - carefully racing to fill the bucket for your team. Don’t tip your cup too soon! Cup Stack Challenge - which den has the best tower building skills?
It was a great night to be outside and spending time as a pack. Happy April!

Spring camp weekend at Lake Houston Wilderness Park ⛺️
This is a Cub Scout favorite camp location! Kicking off with a Saturday morning pancake breakfast, the pack hiked to the nature center to check out the animals that call this park home, try their hand at the scavenger hunt, and enjoy the playground. Saturday afternoon was filled with gaga ball matches and leatherworking to make bracelets and keychains. Our Bear and Webelo dens brushed up on their whittling chip skills with some knife safety review and practice.
Dinner was a delicious fajita feast. Refueled, the Cubs were ready to tell jokes, perform skits and run-ons around the campfire. After a quick break for churro funnel cake, the older Cubs stayed up to tell spooky stories around the campfire.
Another great weekend of camping with Scout friends. A big thank you to Mr. Jeremy for being our camp chef and making sure we were all well fed. 🌳
