I think I’m done with this one. Think I’m gonna call it “Roses”

Working on something different for me.

Start of a new project. Got the base down. Tomorrow start layering in additional colors and gloss.

Time to start working on my next Pop Art piece. I think I’ll call it “gay starter pack #1”

Due to the actions of our wonderful governor about passing a Soviet/nazi rule about transgender kids and transgender affirming parents, etc I have decided to do a painting of the transgender flag.

You might be saying “well those aren’t the colors” and yes. But with the process of becoming your true self there are many layers before you are yourself. This is just the first layer. Each layer will add a more complex visual aspect.

The little white stripes will be made to represent bruises both from the physical transformation but also from the hate that transgender people get from society.

The only thing is I’m not sure if I want to do is add any type of words to the painting.

Well that turned out so different. Sometimes that happens.

And oldie but goodie. This is Number 1 and 2. Made it for a friend when I first started painting.
