Home of the Orange Show, Fonde & Smither Park and Art Car Centers The Fonde Civic Club is a civic and social organization.
Our group is namd after our community park. Located at 5500 Carrollton and accessible from 2500 Hansford, at its opposite end, the 12.7-acre park was acquired by the city in 1950. The park's name honors Miss Corinne Fonde, a long-time administrator of the Recreation Department and the first deputy director when the Parks Department and the Recreation Department were combined into one city departme

Cat and dog owners living in 77011, 77012, 77023, 77061, and 77087 may now register for FREE spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchipping at our November 15th event at AAMA-George I. ✅ Owned cats & dogs from 2 to 90 lbs. are welcome!
❌ We aren't able to fix puppies under 4 months old and kittens under 2 lbs.
❌We DO NOT offer a vaccine/microchip-only clinic. Our focus is spay/neuter. ✂
❌ Flat-faced dog breeds such as Pugs, Boston Terriers, French Bulldogs, and English Bulldogs are not eligible for this event due to their specialized anesthesia needs.
❌ Volunteers DO NOT get preferential treatment for sign-up, check-in, or check-out. The process is the same for all pet owners.

We are thrilled to offer a Zumba class tailored specifically for older adults during their Senior Mornings gathering time. We’ll provide the water and snacks while our instructor goes through a fun Zumba class paced perfectly for our adults! Attendees will each get a Zumba fitness towel.
