It’s a big day at Sinclair! Our first ever House Cup winner was announced with green house Saturn taking the honors! All of our students will enjoy a green themed celebration today during magnet time!

We also had a passing of the torch today, naming our house leaders for the 26-27 school year. Our current leaders welcomed them to the role and presented them with their shirts. Congratulations to:

🚨IMPORTANT UPDATE AT SINCLAIR FOR 26-27🚨

In the 26-27 school year, Sinclair will no longer be a part of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program. As a result, school lunch will no longer be free to all students. Instead, families will need to complete a Free/Reduced-Price Meal Application to determine eligibility for free or reduced-price lunch meals.

To apply for free or reduced-price meals, please complete the HISD School Nutrition Meal Application beginning July 22, 2026.

Senior Clapout 2026 was one for the books! We had so many students and former teachers come back to campus to celebrate and it was so great to welcome so many familiar faces back to our hallways! Once a Superstar, Always a Superstar!

We will declare the 25-26 House Cup Winner during our magnet celebration on Wednesday, June 3 and we invite all students to wear their house shirts or house colors for the celebration!

Their first ever year competing together. They reached for the stars, and they placed 6th in the world! Congratulations Barrett, Rami, Anthony, Issac, Nathan, Eli, and Owen - we are so, so proud of you all! What a super(star) way to end your 5th grade year at Sinclair!

The Popcorn Balls gave it their all, performing their long term problem yesterday and completing their spontaneous problem this morning. Now it’s time to wait for the results this evening.
