A little life update, without making it a whole thing ✨

I’ve been quiet for a while, and the truth is postpartum hit me harder than I expected. I do not think I fully realized just how much it was affecting me while I was in it. I have not felt like myself, and yes, part of that has been struggling with how I have looked and felt.

But the bigger picture is that this has simply been a heavy season. It is just my husband and me here in Texas, while all of our family is in a different state. We do not really have help with the baby, our schedules are completely opposite, and between caring for our son and working full-time, there has not been a lot of room for much else. I think all of that left me more overwhelmed, more isolated, and quieter than I ever meant to be.

Still, through all of that, there are people who continued to check on me, love me, support me, and give me grace, even when I was not replying, even when I was distant, and even when I did not have much to give. To those people, thank you. Your kindness meant more than you know. 🤍

I’m coming back slowly, with a full heart and so much gratitude for the people who have loved me through this season.

Here’s to soft returns, real life, and finding my way back. 🫶🏼 THANK YOU, JESUS 🙏🏼🤍

A lot can change in 6 weeks ✨ Just the beginning 💪🏽

I spent the first 6 months postpartum ashamed and embarrassed, doubting my body and what it could do (after just naturally birthing a literal human, how wild!?!?) and of course I was wrong. ✨💪🏽

Carmine Vincent Erickson blessed us with his presence on 7/14/25 at 12:18 am. He is 7lbs 13oz of pure love and sweetness, we couldn’t be more in love. Thank you, Jesus 🙏🏼🫶🏼

It is amazing what our bodies are capable of, but I truly couldn’t have done this without .slow, .ryles, and and Amanda — the absolute dream support team. 🤍

Red, White, and Baby Bumpin’ 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 Makes me want a hotdog REAL bad 🌭

From my very first bump pic to the most recent 🥹🤍 it’s surreal to witness how much my body has transformed throughout this pregnancy. In just over two weeks, the little life I’ve been growing will finally be in my arms and I’ll be looking into the eyes of someone I’ve loved without even knowing. 🥹

In a world where “everything is content,” I made the intentional decision early on to keep this journey private — to hold something sacred for myself, my husband, and our closest circle. There’s a beauty in keeping something just for you, especially when everything else is so public.

This pregnancy hasn’t been easy for me mentally. Watching my body transform in ways I couldn’t control was incredibly challenging, especially while working to heal and release old habits around disordered eating and negative body image. But putting my baby first gave me a strength I didn’t know I had. 🙌🏼

I’m sharing now not for attention, but as a quiet celebration of growth — both mine and baby’s — and as a thank you to those who have held space for me, supported me, and reminded me that I’m not alone. 💙

When you think you’re going to an Outreach Event for work but really your boss, coworkers, and husband surprise you with a baby sprinkle/birthday celebration at your favorite restaurant 💚🥹🌿🎉🍼 I’m so blessed to have the most thoughtful people in my life, this was so special. ✨

OH BABY! 🤍✨ Our sweet baby boy is already so loved beyond measure ✨

We are incredibly grateful for our friends Paige and Chris who opened their home and hosted the most wonderful celebration for us. We are extremely blessed with such sweet friends that showed up and showered us with so much love. 💙 We are so thankful for these beautiful souls who make Texas feel like home. 🫶🏼

Only 7 more weeks until we meet our sweet baby boy 🥹💙

Blessed to be spending Mother’s Day with one of my favorite mothers — my big sister 💙💐 So many people I love the most are mothers, HAPPY MOTHER’s DAY to all of you beautiful woman 🫶🏼✨
