AM LOSING MY MIND. My wife called me this morning saying she “hit a deer” on the highway and to come help her. I show up and THIS is what I see. The entire front end is smashed and covered in red like a horror movie. She keeps repeating “it was definitely a deer” but something about this looks… suspicious?? I’ve hit deer before and it never looked like someone dumped a bucket of red paint across the hood. Now the car is barely drivable and the tow truck driver is already saying it might be totaled. She’s sticking to the deer story but I honestly don’t know what to believe anymore

Stopped by the body shop to check on my car and saw THIS. I started screaming at the guy because mud work should be see through! Am I overreacting?? He’s putting white plaster all over my grey car! I told him to scrape it off and use the 'invisible' filler, and he looked at me like I was crazy. Am I being scammed?

I am literally dont know what to do rn.... My roommate begged to use my car for a job interview. I said yes. Then he got slammed in traffic. I just called my insurance and they said because he lives with me but isn't listed on my policy, they might DENY THE CLAIM. 💀 Please tell me that isn't true. I still owe $20k on this car. He has $0 to his name. Am I ruined?

I’m driving on the highway and this absolute idiot is flying down the road with a massive truck stacked sky-high with wooden pallets.

The load is so tall and unstable it looks like it’s about to topple over at any second.

This is a serious hazard! If one of those pallets comes loose at highway speeds it could fly off and kill someone. The straps look questionable and the whole thing is swaying. How is this even legal?!

Truck drivers like this have zero regard for everyone else on the road. They’re putting innocent families at risk just to haul more crap. If you can’t secure your load properly, don’t drive it!

I’m so tired of these reckless trucks turning the highway into a danger zone. This should be illegal. The selfishness and negligence is actually insane.

This kind of dangerous driving needs to stop immediately. Truck drivers DO BETTER!

I am honestly disgusted and appalled right now…

I’m on vacation trying to find a nice place to eat with my family and we walk past this restaurant called Dick’s Last Resort. Are you actually serious right now?!

This is a highly touristy family area full of kids and young children. Who in their right mind thinks it’s appropriate to name a restaurant “Dick’s” and put it out here where families are walking around? The vulgarity and lack of class is actually insane.

This is not the place for that kind of trashy humor. Some of us are trying to enjoy a nice vacation with our kids and we have to see this low-class garbage on the boardwalk. There are plenty of actual family-friendly restaurants and this is not one of them.

The audacity to put this name in a public, family-oriented tourist spot is ridiculous and disrespectful. I would never take my children in there.

This kind of inappropriate nonsense needs to stop.

I understand that tipping is part of dining out.

That's not really what caught my attention.

What surprised me was the sign on the door. 😳

"BAD TIPPERS DON'T DESERVE GOOD SERVICE."

Maybe it was meant to be funny.

Maybe it was meant to make a point.

But to me, it completely changed the vibe before I even walked inside.

I've always thought good service comes first, and the tip reflects the experience afterward.

Seeing a message like that felt less like hospitality and more like a warning.

And before anyone says it, yes—I tip.

I have no problem rewarding good service.

But signs like this make it feel like customers and restaurants are starting the relationship on the wrong foot.

Instead of "Welcome in," the message feels more like, "We hope you tip enough."

Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Maybe most people would walk right past and never think twice.

But it definitely made me stop for a second.

I'm curious what others think.

If you saw this sign on a restaurant door, would it bother you, or would you just ignore it and go eat anyway?

I walked into a restaurant recently and saw a sign that immediately caught my attention. 😳

It said:

"No ordering water as your only drink. Every guest must purchase a beverage."

I'll be honest, I had to read it twice.

Now, I understand restaurants make money on drinks. I get that beverages are an important part of the business.

But something about requiring every person at the table to buy a drink didn't sit right with me.

Some people only want water.

Some don't drink soda.

Some aren't interested in alcohol.

And some families are simply trying to keep the cost of a meal under control.

To me, if someone is already paying for a meal, ordering water shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe there's a reason for the policy that I'm not considering.

Maybe they've had issues with people occupying tables for long periods while spending very little.

Still, seeing that sign changed my first impression before I even sat down.

Instead of feeling welcomed, it felt like there was already a minimum spending expectation attached to the experience.

In the end, I decided to leave.

Now I'm curious what other people think.

Would a policy like this bother you, or would you see it as a reasonable business decision?

I put up a sign in my front yard today, and judging by the reactions I've already gotten, I'm pretty sure most people are going to think I've lost my mind. 😅

The sign simply asks people walking past my house not to stare at it.

Not because it's famous.

Not because there's anything special about it.

Because it's my home.

And the more I thought about it, the more I realized how many people casually look at houses as they walk or drive by without ever thinking twice about it.

Most people would probably say a quick glance means nothing.

Maybe they're right.

But when your house sits on a busy street, those quick glances add up. Hundreds of people every week taking in your yard, your windows, your front porch, and whatever else happens to catch their attention.

At some point I started wondering why that's considered normal.

Just because something is visible doesn't necessarily mean it was put there to be observed.

I know a lot of people will disagree with me.

In fact, I'm expecting most people to disagree with me.

But I'm genuinely curious where people draw the line between public visibility and personal privacy.

If someone asks people not to look at their house as they walk by, is that unreasonable?

Or is wanting a little more privacy something most people can understand?

To whoever thought it would be funny to booby-trap a porch package with expired milk: congrats, you’ve officially crossed from “prank” into “property damage.” The police have already been contacted.
I opened what looked like a normal package in my car and it exploded. Rotten milk everywhere — seats, carpet, clothes, door panels. The smell hit instantly and it was FOUL.
Spoiled milk doesn’t magically disappear. It soaks in. It curdles. It stains. It lives there now.
My car currently smells like a dairy farm dumpster in July and is borderline undrivable.
I’ll be getting it professionally detailed and whoever did this can cover the bill. Hope the five seconds of comedy was worth the cleanup.

My neighbor was mowing their lawn around 6 P.M., and I know this might sound dramatic, but it honestly bothered me more than I expected.
I get that people have busy schedules, and sometimes yard work has to happen whenever there’s time. Not everyone can mow in the middle of the day, and I understand that.
But after a long week, that early evening time is when a lot of people are trying to eat dinner, relax, or finally enjoy a little quiet. So hearing a mower going for a while right outside can feel pretty frustrating.
I’m not saying people should never do yard work in the evening. I just think there’s a balance between taking care of your property and being mindful of the people living nearby.
Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I do feel like neighborhood courtesy matters, especially when it comes to noise.
Be honest, would mowing around dinner time bother you, or is 6 P.M. still a totally reasonable time?
