2.5 Million Hours – and counting!
Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) is at the core of every decision Geokinetics makes.
We are happy to say that worldwide, our seismic crews, warehouse and office operations have been working for six months without a single recordable injury. Put another way, that’s more than 2.5 million hours since our last LTI (Lost Time Incident) – all while operating in some of the toughest environments on the planet.
A very proud accomplishment for the entire Geokinetics team!

Started the year with wrapping up two really interesting jobs from both scientific and logistical standpoints. It will be a couple of months before we can show the data but it will be worth coming back to see.

ANCAP and Geokinetics Agree on a Regional Seismic Program, Onshore Uruguay
The Administración Nacional de Combustibles, Alcoholes y Portland (ANCAP) has authorized Geokinetics Inc. to acquire a 2,687 km regional Multi-Client 2D Survey in the Norte Basin, onshore Uruguay. The new regional survey will provide a better understanding of the basin.
