I use to have my work-from-home desk and computer here when I was a tele-health nurse. The dark computer equipment and being bound to the computer with a headset all day and having my calls timed and scored even if the patient on the other side just needed someone to talk to about their life really took a toll on my mental health. Plus talking to so many people that were sick and scared made me start to view the world as a very dark place.

I finally left healthcare this year after being a nurse for nearly 15 years. It has truly been the best thing for my mental health and outlook on life.

Now I can enjoy this space with the minimal beauty it deserves 🤍✨

Good morning loves! Happy Sunday~ I am out of town today to visit my dad. His health has been concerning and I don’t get to see him much and we actually just started to reconnect a couple of years ago after years of not having any contact. But things like this are a gentle reminder to do what you dream before life passes you by. I dream of being a business owner and having a lovely jewelry line with pieces that people across the world will love and wear and I won’t give up!
