The Houston market continues to ease its way back to pre-pandemic numbers. This is the fifth consecutive month of declining sales and rising inventory, however there was a surge of single-family leases proving consumers are shifting away from purchasing property and taking advantage of the less permanent option of staying in the rental market. Although inventory, interest rates, and elevated prices are still driving forces in the market, the Houston market proves there are still opportunities for both buyers and sellers.
