Today I am fasting from last night's dinner until 4:30 pm today. It's easy, and ups my fat burning! Super Simple with Mom fuel, and electrolytes. No cravings, no energy slump.

Perfect Bacon every single time. Two pounds of perfect bacon!

I laid it all out on a baking sheet single file on top of parchment paper. Then I baked it in the oven at 400° for about 14 to 16 minutes. it took a little longer because there were 2 pounds.

Not only does bacon provide beautiful fat and amino acids, but it also produces liquid gold - bacon grease! Do not throw that grease away. Fry some Brussels in it!

Keto Fudge Cookies….

➡️Ingredients
•1 cup finely ground almond flour
•2 tbsp cocoa powder
•1/4 tsp salt
•1/8 tsp baking soda
•1/4 cup sugar free chocolate chips
•3 tbsp powdered erythritol
•2 tbsp milk of choice
•1 tbsp coconut oil or additional milk
•optional powdered erythritol to coat

➡️Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325 F. Stir dry ingredients very well. Add wet to form a dough. If too wet, refrigerate until firm enough to roll into balls with your hands or a cookie scoop.

2. Bake on a greased or parchment-lined tray for 11 minutes. If you want flatter cookies, press down with a fork or spoon. Let cool before handling. If desired, roll in additional powdered sugar or erythritol.

My 91 yr old MOM is mobile because she MOVES… often. She chooses NOT to be sedentary. There are days she wants to be a couch potato but in her words “ If you don’t use it, you will lose it.” She gardens, strength trains 3X a week ( Yes , she even drivers herself to her gym in the snow.) walks on an incline on the treadmill, strides on the elliptical and she gets down on the floor and stretches. Don’t use age as an excuse. It’s never to late to start. This is not a pass-fail test. The primary goal of this test is to determine whether you have a good range of motion in your hips. It also gauge is leg and core strength, as well as balance and coordination. If you’re not able to do it, take stock. Ask yourself how can you improve your core strength, leg strength, balance and agility? What if you’re fit, but you had an injury? The test doesn’t account for injuries, so either wait until you’re healed to try the test, or don’t assume your results are the end all be all measure of your health. The test also doesn’t account for musculoskeletal limitations.
