Top 10 Things I Would Tell Someone Thinking of Moving to Houston.
1. Ask God is that what he wants you to do?
2. Explore the church’s and find your fit. Tithe. Go and Enjoy. And get involved for you and God.
3. Let love find you and live life to YOUR fullest potential.
4.Be prepared to learn and gain discipline in EVERYTHING I mean EVERYTHING
5. Enjoy the food but not too much, the weight sticks. Gained 40 lbs in two years. Lost 20 and the other 20 should’ve been there lol
6. Explore. Travel Texas.
7. Do water activities
8.Experience HBCU and Greek life
9. Find a routine in work, for life, for social that work for you.
10. But most importantly, make good decisions with God as your head.
Ask through all that you endure for DIRECTION, DISCIPLINE, and DISCERNMENT . But it’s also about having the courage to OBEY. In Jesus Name. Amen
Last thing, it’s also very important to have a plan for your career to thrive. Don’t have to have it right away (FAITH)but even if you have to start at the bottom, trust God to climb . God didn’t give me 7 years of college for nothing. There’s a bigger picture!
