No Kings -Tzipy

“Tzipy – Female Wild Thing” — A powerful portrait of a woman wearing the iconic wolf onesie and crown inspired by Max from Where the Wild Things Are. She represents the first generation of children shaped by stories — tales read from books and oral traditions passed down by immigrant parents from another country.
As children, imagination becomes a bridge between cultures, identity, memory, and belonging. Now as an adult, she and we embody both the wild freedom of childhood fantasy and the layered inheritance of her family’s history.

Inspired by the story book “Where the Wild Things Are” . Wild things (the monsters) are not named in the original 1963 picture book, author Maurice Sendak gave them names when adapting the story into an opera in 1983.
