For this client, years of travel and collecting became an important layer of the design, thoughtfully woven into a contemporary setting to create a space rich with story, memory, and character.

Wallcoverings have the ability to imbue a space with the subtlety of effortless luxury.

My three favorite brands are , , and —all of which have tactile qualities that add an elevated materiality to a room.

Based in Paris, the showroom is a transportive experience, demonstrating a beautiful unification of both their wallcoverings and textiles.

offers rich color palettes and abstract patterns that are perfectly unsymmetrical and elegantly cohesive, giving a room dynamism and interest.

Finally, specialized in creating, publishing and manufacturing remarkable wallcoverings and fabrics, from historic archives to contemporary creations. They accessed the archives from the iconic 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts for a centennial collection celebrating Art Deco.

These collections provide an enduring foundation of texture and history that allows a room to evolve while remaining anchored in high-end craftsmanship.

It was lovely attending their exclusive evening with , marking the American debut of Splash, a glass lighting installation by Martin Gallo that explores the emotional resonance of water in its most fluid, ever-changing forms.
