Uneven, settled or lifted concrete will prevent proper drainage of water which can cause erosion of the soil leading to more movement. Cracks in driveways are common but entire slabs shifting out of place is not.

Evaporator coils are rarely seen but if given the chance, we will aim to snap a photo. This coil was extremely dirty and will degrade the performance of the unit. One should examine their coils when possible or have a professional maintenance the system annually.

Drainage vent pipes allow air to enter the drainage system and since they terminate outdoors, can allow for rain water to enter the system which is why it is important that they slope towards the drain. Negative slopes can trap water at connections increasing the risk for leaks.
