Great info regarding the Texas Housing Market. We are seeing it become a more balanced market with houses taking a bit longer to sell and prices dipping just slightly.
Keep in mind this is year over year in February and across the entire state.
What is the housing market like right now?
In February 2026, home prices in Texas were down 1.2% compared to last year, selling for a median price of $333,800. On average, the number of homes sold was down 5.5% year over year and there were 21,092 homes sold in February this year, down 22,446 homes sold in February last year. The median days on the market was 91 days, up 12 year over year.
