Buddy would visit me at 7:00 a.m. sharp every morning for the past year, seeking love, attention, and treats. His beautiful fur was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment of it being petted. No matter the weather, he'd come to see me, and we'd share a special bond through our conversations. Buddy lived two streets away, in a house with a six-foot fence, but he'd brave the jump to see me every morning and occasionally in the evenings. However, it's been over a month since his last visit. I miss him dearly and hope nothing has happened to him. If anyone has any information, please message me. We live in the Easthaven subdivision. Today I will make a visit to his owners house for a welfare check. Please pray for me that I find my Buddy safe and sound. Thank you. 06/21/2024

Update on Buddy's whereabouts! I went to Buddy's home to do a welfare check. And, his owner told me he was released 4 days ago from Harris county animal shelter. He spent 10 days in quarantine for biting someone. Buddy must always be on a leash outdoors.

His owner says he jumps the 6 ft wood fence. So, Buddy now sits in a small dog cage inside their garage 24/7.

Upon visiting Buddy today he was very excited to see me. So was I. His owner says they are going to install barb wire above their fence in hopes that he'll stop jumping over. I pleaded with the owner not to do the barb wire for Buddy's safety.

I'd would love the idea of adopting Buddy however, I own two jealous dogs and a small yard.

Buddy needs to live in the country where he can be free. He likes to run. Is there anyone out there who would like to adopt Buddy and give him a home. He really should be an indoor dog with a large backyard. I'm heartbroken inside to see him inside the small cage. He won't make it much longer. I pray that someone will come forward and take Buddy to a better place to live. If that person is you contact me (713) 825-2668.
