This painting is inspired by traditional Dagestani carpets and I decided to layer sacred geometry because it represents where I am now in my art and spirituality and how it fuses with my roots. This piece encapsulates my journey and evolution and was made with so much love and intention. I have always loved the traditional carpets of my culture and so I paid close attention to the details, ultimately makes me feel connected. I wanted to create a piece that was close to home and touched on aspects of who I am.
I’m proud that my vision for this came to life, and those who watched the progression of this painting can attest. Thank you for those that have supported my journey and watched as my art grew and developed. You have no idea how much it means to me. I hope you like this piece as much as I do. Happy to say that it has sold, and prints will be available soon 💙
