Rescue is extremely hard but when the rescue community comes together it's a powerful force.

We met three of the sweetest puppies that were found abandoned in Cleveland, TX. We were so excited to be part of their journey to forever families. Then all of sudden we lost little Plum, and the fight began.

We are endlessly grateful to The Forgotten Pet Advocates and Marlene Marino for sponsoring the parvovirus immunoglobulin treatment for these two puppies who are fighting for their lives. This incredible gift gives them a real chance to overcome this devastating illness and, one day, experience the bright, joyful future they deserve.

Meet Stedman - 6-7 year old, This handsome beefcake was found as a stray in Houston, TX, and brought to a crowded shelter — where he sadly ended up on the euthanasia list. Big, black, scarred-up, and heartworm positive, he was overlooked by everyone… except us. We saw something special in Stedman, and we’re so glad we did.

Calvin -1 year old is a sweet, playful boy with a curious spirit and a big heart. He loves exploring his surroundings and is always up for a little fun, whether it’s chasing toys or investigating something new.

🐾 Meet Asuki 🐾

This beautiful 10-month-old female tabby is still waiting for her forever home… and we’re honestly surprised no one has scooped her up yet.

Asuki is playful, sweet, and a little independent. She loves playtime (including secretly running on the exercise wheel when she thinks no one is watching 😄). She can be shy at first, but once she’s comfortable, her personality really shines.

She’s done wonderfully in a foster home with a Chihuahua—she even adored him—so she may do well with respectful dogs.

💔 Asuki was found as a tiny kitten in Colony Ridge, where stray dogs are everywhere and cat resources are basically nonexistent. Her finder reached out desperate for help, and we couldn’t leave her there. Now she’s safe and ready for a family of her own… but still no inquiries.
Grey tabbies may not get the hype gingers do, but this girl is truly special.

She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once you earn her trust, she loves deeply. Expect happy reunions complete with gifts (usually her food bowl or a shoe 👟) and plenty of chatter when she knows it’s walk time. Rosie is neutral with dogs she meets on walks, absolutely adores her current canine sibling, and would love a fur sibling in her future home. Cat compatibility is currently unknown.

💔 Meet Roscoe — still waiting for his person. 💔

Roscoe is a 3-year-old Shepherd mix with movie-star looks and the softest heart. At around 80 lbs, he’s a big, handsome guy—but inside? Total gentle giant. He lives for belly rubs, squeaky toys, and leaning his whole body into you like he’s afraid you might disappear if he lets go.

Once Roscoe trusts you, he’s all in. Wiggly. Loyal. Affectionate. The kind of dog who makes you feel chosen. He walks beautifully on leash, does great at the vet, and is smart and eager to learn with a little structure and guidance.

Roscoe would do best as the only pet in a calm, adult-only home. He can be selective with other dogs and is still learning to manage his excitement, and he appreciates having space when enjoying his toys—he just needs someone who understands him.

This sweet boy has already been through heartbreak. 💔
Roscoe was abandoned in March 2023, and he’s been waiting ever since for someone to see him for who he truly is: a loving, devoted companion who just wants a safe place to land.

He doesn’t need perfect.
He needs patience, kindness, and a forever home.
And he will give you everything in return.
