Dental Marketing Wiz 🎩 - Focused on Boosting New Patients. www.topsparkmedia.com
Simplicity is power. So many dental practice websites have long paragraphs of content on their landing page. New patients WILL NOT read all that. Focus on simplicity, clear headings, and only relevant content
I measure the success of our marketing in 3 ways:
1) How many New Patient contact form submissions did we get on the website?
2) How many New Patient phone calls did we get? (We use callrail to help track this)
3) What is our cost per lead (Take the total ad spend and divide by new patients that scheduled)
Track these EVERY single month 🎯
3 Google ads tips that have worked well for dental practices:
1) Target women (higher conversion rates + they tend to schedule for other family members as well)
2) Increase ad budgets towards mobile devices & Decrease on desktop / tablet devices
3) Target ads in a close proximity to your practice (3-5 miles is good if you are in a competitive area, scale out wider if lower competition)
Watch your CTRs improve!
4 Simple Strategies to increase Dental Marketing Conversions on your Website:
1. Make things personal / authentic - Differentiate yourself from other offices through nice photos! Users get a better emotional connection by getting to know you better & seeing your environment!
2. Have 1 Main Priority CTA (Call-to-Action) - Make sure it's emphasized & easy to spot on the website. Giving users too many options ends up hurting your conversions
3. Continue to Prioritize Google Reviews - I often see offices starting off with a ton of motivation to collect reviews, and then things slow down. Get a system in place where you can continue to collect reviews on a daily basis! (You can place a QR code flyer at the front which can be scanned & go directly to your google reviews link)
4. Limit Clutter - Too much text on a website is likely hurting your conversions. Follow the 15 second rule which states you have about 15 seconds to grab a visitor’s attention on your website. Most people won’t read long paragraphs, so focus on easy to read headlines & website flow instead!
My best client has their staff make a phone call within 2 MINUTES of a new patient form inquiry coming in from the website..
and they end up scheduling 90%+ of those leads!
Figure out the data behind:
1) How long are we taking to make a phone call after a contact form inquiry comes in?
2) For missed calls, how quickly are we calling back?
Timing is KEY and user intent is highest immediately after they've reached out
Sometimes just waiting 15 minutes or longer to call, means you’ve already lost that lead
