Final day here at TNMF2025.

It's been an amazing week getting to listen to a bunch of amazing music, getting to see some friends I made last year, and meeting new friends! I'm looking forward to seeing where everyone goes from here!!

Day 7 of TNMF2025

Last night was the premiere of my new piece "The Clockwork City" for Chamber Ensemble. I'll be making another post when I post the recording!

Today started with a 2 hour composer career lecture by Rob Smith on how to get fame and fortune for the young composer. In a little bit, there's going to be a Composer Lecture by B.P. Herrington!

Day 6 of TNMF2025. It started off with a composer lecture by . Next, is the flute workshop with Meg Griffith! I wrote a piece called "Whispers of the Forest". I'll be getting a recording of it in the next couple of weeks!!

Finally, tonight is the premier of my brand new piece "The Clockwork City" for Chamber Ensemble!

Day 5 of TNMF2025 started with the penultimate rehearsal for "The Clockwork City" conducted the amazing . It will be premiered tomorrow night by the Texas New Music Ensemble! Next was a composer lecture by . Hard to believe the week is already almost over here at TNMF.

Day 4 of TNMF2025 started out with an amazing focal session with . Now, we are doing a piano four-hands workshop where each composer at the festival wrote a piece to be read and recorded!

Day 3 of TNMF2025 starting off with some composer lectures.

Day 2 of TNMF is starting off with a bang! A great round of rehearsal for my brand new piece "The Clockwork City". It will be premiered on Friday, July 11th!!

And we are back!!!! I can't wait to spend the week listening to some amazing music and hanging out with some amazing people!!
