Kauai Day 6 🌺

Today was all about: relaxation.

We started the morning with breakfast from Hanalei Bread Company, did a little shopping around town.

Relaxed.

We attempted a beach day, but Mother Nature had other plans. Between the rain and a possible sea urchin mishap, that adventure was a little shorter than planned. 😅

The rest of the day looked something like this:

Relaxed.
Watched the sunset.
Relaxed.
Got shaved ice.
Relaxed some more.

Honestly, it was exactly what we needed.

Kauai Day 5 🌺

We had a very slow morning after yesterday’s adventure-packed day.

Later, we met up with our friends and hiked down to Turtle Cove. We picked a fresh coconut, cracked it open, and gave it a try. Some of us were bigger fans than others. 😅

We spent the afternoon boogie boarding at Hā’ena Beach. Foster has been looking for waves!

We ended the evening with Chicken in a Barrel and another beautiful Kauai sunset.

Nothing overly exciting today—just good company, ocean air, and making memories. 🌴

Kauai Day 4 🌺

Today started early as we headed south for a day of exploring!

Our first stop was Waimea Canyon, often called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. We spent a couple of hours taking in the incredible views, and pictures really don’t do it justice. The colors, the depth, and the sheer size of it are something you have to see for yourself.

From there, we made our way to Poipu Beach, where we hit the jackpot with wildlife sightings. We spotted monk seals lounging on the beach, watched sea turtles coming in and out of the water, and spent some time snorkeling.

Before heading back north, we made a stop at Spouting Horn. It’s one of those places that’s simple but impressive at the same time. Watching the ocean force water through the lava tube and shoot it high into the air was pretty cool, and definitely worth the stop.

After a full day of adventuring, we wrapped things up with burgers from Bubba Burgers before making the drive back.

Not a bad way to spend a day in paradise. 🌴😊
