This is what 105°F heat will do inside a vehicle. Fortunately this can of soda was inside a small cooler so it didn’t make a massive mess in the truck. However, this is why we don’t leave pets or children inside a vehicle for any amount of time especially in any heat.

Simple Way to Save Opened O2 Absorbers

Quick O2 absorber hack I actually use.
When I open a pack of oxygen absorbers and don’t use them all, I don’t want the rest to lose effectiveness. Here’s what I do:
1. Fill a mason jar about halfway with dry rice
2. Drop the opened (but still usable) O2 absorbers inside
3. Seal the jar with a USB-chargeable mason jar vacuum sealer
The rice helps absorb any residual moisture and the vacuum seal keeps oxygen out so the absorbers stay effective longer. Simple, cheap, and works.

The cost of things are crazy lately. I used to pay $2.50 for a pound of brussels sprouts, now it’s a 12 ounce bag with about 10 sprouts and it cost four dollars. If you do the math percentage wise, that’s a big increase. If everything‘s going up that way, this is why we’re having so many issues and have been since Covid.
