Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Technician I with either related work experience in industrial environments or graduate of an electrical/mechanical technical school program.
Role Summary:
The Technician I role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment and pipeline and terminal facilities. The Technician I role performs basic routine operations and maintenance on equipment at pump stations (tank farms), remote booster stations, pipeline ROW, pipeline facilities, remote valve sites, and delivery terminals. Depending on the Buckeye facility need, the Technician I may perform operations and maintenance tasks on electrical systems and equipment.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:
- Maintenance Projects. Under general supervision performing overall support for pipeline and terminal facilities equipment and systems in the assigned area including but not limited to the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation and removal of all electrical, mechanical, communication, control, and measurement equipment.
- Performing and recording regulatory and Company policy preventative maintenance inspections and procedures as identified in the Maintenance and/or Regulatory Manuals and in JDE system.
- Continuous Education. Maintaining a high level of knowledge relating to new and current technology and equipment.
Procuring and managing the efforts of outside contractors as required.
- Policy Implementation. Implementing company policies, standards, drawings, diagrams and construction specifications for the installation of new facilities and the repair or upgrade of existing facilities.
- Product Training. Training Operations personnel and others in the use of new or modified equipment or software.
Maintaining equipment records and furnishing documentation per Company policy of work performed.
- Overall Technical Level of 1-19 on the Technician Career Ladder

Position Requirements:
- Two-year associateโs degree in a technical field (electrical, electronic, or mechanical) OR the equivalent combination of education/work experience is required.
- Experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations and maintenance is a plus.
Experience installing or troubleshooting PLCโs (B&R, Siemens, Allen Bradley) and truck/rail load rack presets (Accuload, Multiload) is a plus.
- Experience in Measurement of Liquids or Gas is preferred.
- Basic Universal skills including basic understanding of Codes, Regulations, Company. Recommended Practices and Procedures as required by the skill.
Exhibits basic familiarity with commercial and manufacture software programs as required by the skill.
- Must be supervised by more experienced Technicians, Engineers, or Supervisors when performing skill.

The Project Controls Manager will lead, direct and manage the performance of a project controls team. The Project Controls Manager is to assure that the tools and reporting systems to adequately manage cost, schedule and risk are developed and maintained. This position will establish clear roles and responsibilities for project controls staff and ensure appropriate cross training is provided to risk, cost and schedule specialists.
The Project Controls Manager is responsible for maintaining and monitoring all project cost, schedule and risk management procedures and controls to ensure the provision of accurate and timely reports and documentation requirements that will assist the Project Manager in maintaining financial and administrative control over the project - thereby ensuring the project objectives are met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:
โขManage the development, implementation and maintenance of a management reporting system to produce valuable program controls reports and data.

Role Summary:
Responsible for implementing environmental policies in addition to supporting district asset teams and training programs. Ensure district and terminal environmental safety and training requirements, emergency response activities and environmental compliance audits for the District.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions include:
Direct and assist the asset teams in the implementation of environmental training requirements within assigned Field Operations and Terminals Employeeโs throughout the district.
Assist asset teams in performing annual environmental audits of pipeline and terminal facilities.
Assist asset teams in performing required environmental audits and inspections.
Communicate and reinforce environmental compliance.
Conduct investigations Apollo-certified RCA practitioner, capable of leading RCA for major incident/event such as for injuries, vehicle accidents, product releases and other incidents as required.
Respond to pipeline and terminal emergencies serving as the Site Environmental Officer, ICS Coordinator, or assist in clean up and mediation technical
Assist as liaison between environmental and state agencies.
Assist asset teams and provide technical advice regarding environmental equipment and environmental procedures throughout district.
Perform active work audits and consulting during hydrostatic pressure tests, pipe repairs and replacements, tank repairs and other pipeline and terminal activities.

Position Requirements:
Associate Degree for entry level and Bachelorโs degree required for higher level, preferably in Science, engineering or other related discipline.
Entry level through 10+ years pipeline environmental compliance experience required depending on level.
Recognized as subject matter expert (SME) in two or more environmental program areas and fully-competent in supporting assigned territory in all aspects of environmental compliance
Understanding of pipeline and terminal maintenance, operations and emergency response including NIIMS Incident Command System highly desired.
OSHA/RCRA 24 hour HAZWOPER, preferred

Role Summary:
The Staff II Accountant, BMS role is responsible for supporting the accounting functions for the Buckeye Merchant Services (BMS) segment, a wholesale distributor of refined petroleum products in the continental United States and in the Caribbean, which includes inventory accounting, revenue margin accounting, operating expenses, and other general ledger accounting activities. The role will require preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, detailed variance analysis, as well as performing inter-company accounting, supporting the monthly close process, and working alongside both front and middle office groups. The Staff II Accountant will report to the Division Controller of BMS.
Responsibilities include:
Account Reconciliations and Journal Entries. Prepare and record various monthly account reconciliations, analyze various general ledger accounts on a regular basis, prepare recurring and other journal entries to support the monthly BMS close process and as necessary develop an approach to resolve outstanding reconciling items (working with Schedulers and Traders) and develop documentation that meets the standards of sound internal controls.
Coordinate monthly reporting and accounting close duties for function. Support and review the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for accounting managers, senior leaders and other departments as necessary.
Month Close. Supports the monthly close process by preparing various journal entries, performing analytics and assisting with submission and review of journal entries as well as organizing close-related tasks for team to ensure compliance with established timelines within the monthly close process.
Executing and following appropriate accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, GAAP, FERC and other applicable regulatory policies and standards.
Processes and Procedures. Identifying new processes and reviewing existing ones to create more efficient workflows for not only the back office but for processes related to the front and middle office groups, and insuring controls for processes are sufficient and compliant. Leveraging technology to automate processes and procedures surrounding financial reporting and analysis and assuming ownership of special projects to develop and implement improvements in current processes and systems.
Serving as a key resource for the function for training and mentoring less senior accountants.
Monthly Analyses. Assisting in the performance of monthly analyses, including budget-to-actual, prior-year variances and other key performance indicators for senior management and Board financial-review packages.
Cross-functional support. Participate in special projects and support other accounting functions as needed.
Audit Support. Prepare supporting schedules for audit activities as assigned.
Assist in the preparation of budgets as needed.
Providing assistance with assimilating purchase acquisitions into company records.

Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
2-3 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role.
