I find myself taking this 1 of 2 ways: one is when you're of service to someone and the other is when you're in manipulation of someone. Always be of use, but don't allow yourself to be used. Your value is measured by what you contribute, not what they can take.

This morning was a nightmare: never did I ever think I would wake up to bite marks up and down my body and having to throw out my entire bedroom (I'm exaggerating. Just the mattress). But still, it was highly disturbing. My skin is still crawling.

BUT in spite of all that, I'm grateful that we set ourselves up for situations like these. At the end of the day, we still have our home. We have a couch that turns into a queen sized bed. We are both working jobs that cover us in these emergency situations. Thru it all, the material is replaceable. I can quite literally have another one of you tomorrow. Lolz.
