Some of the most powerful stories of faith start with ordinary people bringing their questions, failures, and struggles to Jesus. If perfection was the requirement, nobody would qualify. Grace is what makes a seat available at the table!
What if the thing holding someone back is the very thing God wants to heal?
A fish does not think about water until it is removed from it. In much the same way, many people never realize what is missing in their lives until they encounter the presence of God. Suddenly, what once felt satisfying feels shallow. What once felt important feels smaller. What once seemed enough no longer is.
Pay attention to that feeling. The world will tell you to numb it, distract it, or replace it. God uses it to draw people closer. The ache you feel after experiencing His presence is not a problem to solve. It is a reminder that your soul was created for something greater than comfort, success, or entertainment. It was created for communion with Him!

If your kids have big energy, endless questions, and a talent for turning your living room into an obstacle course, they will fit right in at VBS. Illumination Station is all about helping kids discover the hope and truth found in Jesus while giving them a fun and welcoming place to belong. We are already excited to see the joy this week brings to families across our community!
