Since I've been posting awhile, and with all the support I've received from realtors, photographers, and fellow calligraphers (I'm looking at you, ), I thought I would say hi and introduce myself. I'm Alison Ziskind, the owner of M.M. Calligraphy Studio. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
From the time I was young, I was FASCINATED with writing. I loved the lines, the swoops, and my fourth grade teacher's handwriting. (Mrs. Allen had the most beautiful script you've ever laid eyes on.) I dabbled in calligraphy even as a youngster and loved it. Once I grew up, I left it all behind to head to college, enlist in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, and have my beautiful kids. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fast forward to now - I still love handwriting more than ever, and I'm even still in contact with Mrs. Allen! Calligraphy never ceases to awe me, and I love the way it relaxes me as I express my artistic side. Having now studied more formally with various instructors, including the extraordinary Younghae Chung at , I'm pleased to open my own studio and offer my services primarily to realtors across the United States.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
