First wax appointment coming up? Here's how to actually prepare for it!

Grow your hair out for at least 3 weeks - this is the most important one so we're putting it first.

Your hair needs to be at least ¼ inch long aka the size of a grain of rice. If it's too short the wax can't properly grip the hair and your results will show it. We know it's uncomfortable but trust us, it's worth it.

Drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment - hydrated skin is supple skin and supple skin waxes so much better. This one is easy and makes a real difference.

Exfoliate 24 hours before - not the day of, the day before. This removes dead skin buildup so the wax can get as close to the follicle as possible. Better grip, better results.

Wear loose clothing to your appointment - Come in something comfortable and loose so your skin can breathe after.

Take a pain reliever 30 minutes before - It takes the edge off sensitivity and makes the whole experience way more manageable, especially for first timers.
