Having started recording all the way in the summer of 2022, this album has been a testament to the tenacity, and dedication that hardcore punk band THE STUFF puts into their art.
Through constant schedule conflicts, juggling other bands and job responsibilities, The Stuff have proved to be resilient in the face of all that life throws at them.
Here, we have the end result of numerous late night sessions, still dressed in work clothes with the knowledge that the next morning brings yet another early shift,

About a week late, however I wanted to give a big congratulations to the fine young gentlemen in Artificial Fun.
If my recording notes are to be trusted, we spent about six days laying down these four tracks. In that time I was graced with being in the presence of the immense dynamism and musicality that makes up the members of Artificial Fun. Given that you're a fan of them, (and you should be) I'm sure you would agree.

Thanks to the fellas in Artifical for allowing me to help put their art onto record. It was a task that I took so seriously that I almost went insane mixing and mastering this EP. 10 different versions in total though I finally decided on this mix and master session. Pales in comparison to real thing, but hey, hope you all enjoy.

I’m glad to finally begin to show you all the time, work, and effort me and the dudes in The Stuff have been putting in.
In fact this release as well as the others to come were made out of late nights after work, still in uniform, still in scrubs, and copious amounts of puff 🍃

Essentially this is a result of a trip down memory lane 🤷‍♂️
Internally I was always displeased with how my 16 year old brain recorded this ep. I say only recorded and not mixed/mastered because that’s kinda how dandruff did things. I would set up the equipment, mic everything up, hit record and hope to god the levels were decent because the interface i was using had no independent tracking at all. So by the end of it, audible or not, I was just gonna be left with one single audio track for all the instruments to be on.
The fact that I was doing all this on audacity was another important factor lol

Regardless, here’s the remaster which I am much more comfortable with as someone who now not only has better equipment but more advanced knowledge on how to at least make it sound like I know what I’m doing.
