Thereâs a part of nursing that many people never see.
The part where nurses go home replaying moments from their shift wondering if they couldâve done more.
More time to comfort someone.
More time to listen.
More time to simply be present.
When Lexi shared her story with us, we knew so many nurses would relate to it.
Because even after giving everything during a shift⌠sometimes it still doesnât feel like enough.
To celebrate nurses like Lexi, we continue our Stronger Shift Giveaway each month by gifting one nurse 5 pairs of NurseStrong compression socks đ
And moving forward, one thing we really want to do more of is highlight real nurses every month through their stories, experiences, and the realities they carry behind the shift.
Not just because nurses deserve support physically during long shifts.
But because they deserve to feel seen too.
It may be the last day of Nurses Week, but please know this:
NurseStrong celebrates nurses every single day.
How blessed are we to have nurses at the heart of our small nurse- and family-owned business. Truly, this brand would not exist without this community.
For the nurses carrying a lot latelyâŚ
we see you.
Tag all the nurses you know who deserve some extra love today. đ

We donât do givebacks just to be seen.
We do them because weâve lived the shifts ourselves.
Last May 1, to kick off Nurses Week, we held our first official NurseStrong Unit Giveback on my home unit, itâs actually one of the places where this idea began.
Before NurseStrong reached thousands of nurses, it started with coworkers who believed in us early.
So we came back.
Through the rain.â¨With food, coffee, small tokens, and socks.â¨Not to promote something.
But to give back.
We made sure to include our PCAs and charge nurses, because they are such an important part of every shift.
On the drive home, I realized something.
This is something weâre going to keep doing.
Every year.â¨One unit at a time.
Across hospitals in the country.
SO HELP US CHOOSE OUR NEXT UNIT! đ¤
Weâd love to start planning early.
Where should NurseStrong go next year?
Comment your unit, hospital, and state.â¨
WEâD LOVE TO CELEBRATE YOUR TEAM!

When we say weâve shipped 13,000+ pairs of NurseStrong compression socksâŚ
itâs not just a number to us.
Thatâs 13,000+ shifts supported.
13,000+ nurses standing a little longer with less discomfort.
13,000+ reminders that someone understands what this job takes.
We didnât build NurseStrong with investors or any connections.
We built it between hospital shifts, early mornings, and late nights â as a small nurse- and family-owned brand trying to support the people who care for everyone else.
And somehow, nurses across the country found us.
If youâve been part of this journey in any way, thank you for helping us make this possible. đ
Someone once asked me:
âYouâre a nurse. A mom. How are you still running NurseStrong?â
The truth is⌠Iâm not doing this alone.
While Iâm usually the one you see here, Royce has been the quiet strength behind NurseStrong from the very beginning.
Before I even said anything about how heavy my legs felt after shifts, he was already asking:
âHow can we better support nurses?â
Since then, itâs been early mornings, late nights, packing orders together, and building something we truly believe nurses deserve.
This past year alone, weâve shipped 12,000+ pairs of compression socks to nurses across the country â and counting.
No investors.
No big team.
Just a small family supporting the people who care for everyone else.
Just like in nursing, many of us have someone behind us â the people who believe in us and help carry the weight when things get hard.
In life, you donât need a lot of people.
Just a few good ones who truly stand by you.
If someone has been that person for you, tag them and let them know you appreciate them đ
Happy Anniversary Month, Team NurseStrong. đŞđť

After a 12-hour shiftâŚ

Do Compression Socks Actually Help Nurses? The Science Behind Shift Re Do compression socks really help nurses? Learn the science behind shift recovery, reduced leg fatigue, and how the right compression supports long shifts.
As nurses across the country continue to advocate for safer conditions, what kind of support do you think makes the biggest difference â from leadership, the public, or each other?
I really thought ânursingâ compression socks were made for nursesâŚ
until they left my legs itchy, sore, and covered in deep marks đŠ
If youâve ever ripped your socks off after a shift because they were too tight, too itchy, or didnât even help with pain â youâre not alone.
That frustration is exactly why my husband and I created NurseStrong Compression Socks which are actually designed for us nurses who are on our feet all day.
Support where you need it.
Comfort that lasts the full shift.
No deep itchy squeeze in the wrong places.
Plus cute colors + affirmations on the toes for a little pre-shift boost đ
If your legs are DONE after work⌠these socks are for you.
