Vice, Mid West and SWAT just served a search warrant in the 9300 block of Richmond. Several arrest made, Illegal gambling investigation underway.

Arrest update to Murder incident on Tuesday, 5/26, at the 12700 block of Blue Timbers Ct:

The deceased victim has been identified as Marlon Sanders (36). The defendant had been identified as Gary Davis (1/26/88)
The victim’s wife was involved in a relationship with the defendant while separated from the victim. During the separation, she had a baby by the defendant. She allowed the baby to visit the defendant for a couple of days. When she and the victim went to pick the infant up, the defendant allegedly rushed out and shot the victim who was standing by his vehicle in the roadway. No other person was injured during the incident.
Pct 3 deputies responded to the scene. The victim was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
CSI and Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and conducted the scene investigation. Davis was arrested and charged with Murder in the shooting death of Marlon Sanders. Sanders was booked in the Harris County Jail.
Great work by everyone involved in the investigation and arrest, including the Violent Criminals Apprehension Team (VCAT), K9, and Air Support.
