Hey friends and fam! Sorry I've been so non-existent. Sometimes art is less rewarding than my other realms of existence. However, I have felt more motivated to create since my hiatus and wanted to update you on the Sailor Moon music/jewelry box I've been making. Still lots to do, but at a very promising design so far.
First coat on. Working on accents now, then lights after.

Sanding, is therapeutic but, one of my least favorite preparations. However, I have the main cabinet done! Here it is compared to it's original finish. I also primed it white last night, hoping to have it pink by tonight.
The new Sailor Moon themed music box is already in. Now just some painting and lights before it's back to cute.

So, everything is disassembled. This music box "Beautiful Dreamer" is not going back in here. This thing is gonna pink when I'm done, and will be in Sailor Moon theme, with accompanying Sailor Moon music box. Stay tuned. I've also got supplies incoming for the trees I need to continue my Disney TV, so I'm hoping for a good productive new year!

I've been wanting to make something for Pai's art collection, so I found this cute jewellery box with heart shaped windows. I had decided on it, before I even found out it made music. Anyway, it's adorable. Have a video.
