We've been reflecting on the amazing moments we had in our starter months, and some huge opportunities that presented themselves rather quickly. 🙌🏽 We want to be intentional and mindful as we continue to build our brand! A few people have asked me ways to break generational curses, and ways to not allow those curses to hold you back.
Here are my top recommendations of places to start:
1. YOU AREN'T THEM!! So stop counting yourself out before you even start! Your heart is different, your mind is different! God made you uniquely YOU.. not to be compared to anyone else. You have your own path waiting!
2. DEAL WITH YOUR EMOTIONS! Think about it, cry about it, scream about it, talk about it, and get ALL your emotions out. Then, you're ready for step 3!
3. LET GO OF YOUR FEARS! Your emotions are out, now it's time to let go. A generational curse only impacts you if you think it has, before it has! Put those negative cares behind you because this journey is about YOU, and NOT THEM!
4. DEVELOP GOALS! You know what you don't want... but what do you want?? Make a list of clearly defined goals that you want in every area of your life. Your hand should get tired, it's okay. You MUST see it!!!
5. TAKE ACTION! Start making moves to actually cross some things off that list!
Pro Tip.. get a positive accountability partner to keep you on track!
6. TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR OWN LIFE! You are the only driver along this journey. Hold the wheel tight, and keep driving forward no matter what!
7. BE THE NEW BEGINNING!! PERIODT! That curse ends with YOU!!
Aaaaand.. after you're healed, help them heal! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

The holidays can be rough if you've experienced the loss of a loved one, I'm sure we all have! This year my family and I chose to find joy in the gift of still having each other! Instead of spending money on expensive gifts for one day, we chose to use those finances to create lifetime memories and fun bonding opportunities over a few weeks. 1. Acknowledge your fears and stop avoiding them. Find out the true cause of them.
2. Forgive all of the things that you can't forget so that you can move forward.
3. Prepare to be like a toddler; get ready to walk even if you are afraid of falling.
4. Create goals that are necessary!!
5. Stop and recognize the excuses you make!
6. Adopt a growth mindset and surround yourself with successful/positive people, places, and things. This is an old school life truth… you become the people that you surround yourself with!
7. Be comfortable with yourself and your progress in your own timing!
8. Prepare to fail. Prepare to not be accepted. Prepare to be judged. Prepare to be uncomfortable. Get comfortable with the fact that all of these things are inevitable, they're going to happen!!
