Join our Kapihan at Kwentuhan! ☕️✨ We’ll share stories over drinks about our migration, aspirations, ongoing challenges, and the love and community that’s grown from our journeys.

Each day 7000+ Filipinos leave the Philippines in search of livelihood abroad. This kapihan will center on the history of how this came to be and how Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), especially women, shoulder the responsibility to provide for their families under increasingly tough conditions.

Honor International Working Women’s Day with us and bring your loved ones! 💖

What’s in our logo? 🌱

Inspired by the mangrove, we chose a symbol that reflects the strength and care found within community. Standing tall while providing shade to anyone who needs it, the mangrove embodies kapwa - showing up for one another with compassion and collective support. Its winding roots form a natural stronghold, protecting the shoreline even through the fiercest storms.

Beneath the tree, the roots spell “Sulong” in Baybayin - meaning change, progress, and forward movement - a reminder that growth begins when we stay grounded in who we are.

This logo came to life through many conversations, sketches, and reimaginings, brought to fruition in collaboration with the incredibly talented Cal Mascardo.

“Our work is guided by three pillars - the values that ground us and move us forward.

📚 To learn and honor the stories that shaped us.
🔥 To empower one another to imagine and dream a more just future.
🤝 To practice kapwa - showing up with compassion, humility, and collective care.

Our liberation is shared, and together, we make it possible.”

We got a refresh ✨
But it’s more than just a new look - it reflects who we’re growing into.

After the pandemic, we gave ourselves space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the values that guide us. This rebrand is “a renewed call to hold space for our community to learn,” and a step forward “so we can confidently articulate and embody what UniPro TX stands for today.”

Because as the world evolves, we grow alongside it - “society is changing and we have to change with it.”

Rooted in our history, we move forward with the vision, energy, and responsibility of a new generation of leadership - creating a fresh starting point for what’s to come.

Join us as we reintroduce UniPro TX.

Empowering Filipinx through culture, community, and critical dialogue.

📚 Learn. 🤝 Connect. ✊ Build.
