Be Obsessed

06/12/2026

Day 160 of 365.

Life has been blessing after blessing, and for that I’m grateful. But with every blessing has come a new obstacle, a new challenge, and a new test of character.

As we move through Men’s Mental Health Month, I’m reminded that strength isn’t about avoiding the storm—it’s about learning how to endure it. I refuse to allow life’s challenges to break me. Instead, I’ll continue building a stronger shelter, one founded on lessons learned, failures overcome, victories earned, and experiences lived.

Every setback has added another brick. Every hardship has reinforced the foundation. Every moment of doubt has become an opportunity to grow.

Maybe this season is nothing more than a test of will.

If that’s the case, then my will is unbreakable.

The storm may rage, but I’m still standing. Still building. Still moving forward.

Day 160 of 365. The journey continues. 💪🏾

Day 141 of 365 in 2026.

Every new challenge is proof that life is preparing you for a new level. Stay patient through the process growth always looks unfamiliar before it becomes strength.

Life is really a journey filled with exciting moments, unexpected turns, and obstacles that can feel both beautiful and scary at the same time. I remember being younger and rushing so hard to grow up, only to now find myself missing the process of simply learning, discovering, and living in the moment.

Funny how the conversations with my mamma and the old heads in the neighborhood make so much more sense as time passes. Life truly is a collection of choices we make along the way, but somewhere in all of it, the biggest challenge is holding onto who you are at your core.

Lately, I’ve been reconnecting with the things that genuinely bring me joy — my interests, my hobbies, and new passions that reminded me how important it is to slow down and appreciate the journey instead of constantly chasing the next destination.

To anyone reading this, I just wish you peace, growth, and genuine happiness. No matter what obstacles come your way, don’t lose yourself in the process. Keep going, but remember to live too.

As I continue preparing my physique for this season, one thing I’ve really locked into is keeping my meals colorful, balanced, and purposeful. 🍽️💪🏾

Most days my nutrition revolves around lean protein sources like fish, ground chicken, and ground turkey paired with my favorite fruits and jasmine rice when I need additional carbs for performance and recovery. Simple foods, but powerful results when consistency is applied.

A lot of people look at prep meals and only see restriction, but the reality is meals like this serve a purpose far beyond fat loss. Lean proteins help preserve and build muscle while keeping calories controlled during a deficit. Fish also brings recovery benefits and healthy fats that help keep the body functioning at a high level through intense training.

The colorful fruits have become one of my favorite parts of the process. They provide natural energy, fiber, hydration, vitamins, antioxidants, and help keep cravings under control while staying locked into the goal. Every color on the plate is fueling recovery and supporting performance.

And when it’s time to push harder in the gym, jasmine rice becomes a clean fuel source to refill glycogen, improve training performance, and keep the muscles full while continuing to lean out.

This phase isn’t about starving myself. It’s about feeding the body with intention. Giving my physique the nutrients it needs to recover, grow, perform, and gradually reveal the work that’s been built through discipline and consistency.

Fat loss isn’t just about eating less.
It’s about eating smarter.
Fueling the mission.
Recovering properly.
And showing up every single day with purpose.

The season is getting closer… and the work continues. 🔥
