The wait is over....East Blocks is officially underway!

We’re proud to announce that Phase I has broken ground, marking a major milestone for this transformative project in East Downtown (EaDo) Houston. Join us in welcoming our tenant, Handies Duozo, a Duckstache Hospitality concept to the project, taking 2,000 SF at 1107 Hutchins.

East Blocks represents a long-term investment in the neighborhood’s growth, energy, and future. As FIFA World Cup 26™ Houston excitement builds and the FIFA Fan Festival™ prepares to welcome thousands of visitors just steps away. This moment signals not only progress for East Blocks, but a broader evolution for EaDo as a destination.

Construction is progressing at Autry Park in Houston, TX! With substantial completion scheduled for late May 2026, this ~120,000 SF, six-story, core & shell office building features a basement parking garage, ground-floor office/mercantile space, and outdoor terraces on Levels 4 and 6, creating a dynamic and amenity-rich environment.

Additionally, we are excited to share that our interiors team has been awarded the tenant buildout for Levels 3 and 4, with construction set to begin next month.

We look forward to continuing progress on this project and delivering a high-quality office space at Autry Park!

We are thrilled to announce an incredible gift and share new renderings for the Memorial Groves project!

Memorial Park Conservancy is honored to receive a $7.5M donation from the Jerold B. Katz Foundation for the $50.5 million project, designed by , that will honor the original vision of the Park as a greenspace that pays tribute to Houston’s World War I history.

As an exciting update, the project will include enhancements to the Seymour Lieberman Trail (SLT), the Park’s most popular trail. Approximately 3,600 ft. of the SLT will be moved further away from West Memorial Loop Drive, creating space for new trees to be planted between the trail and the roadway. As these trees mature, they will provide a more scenic and shaded route for trail users, enhancing comfort and natural beauty along the trail.

Other project highlights include:
🌳 3,000 bald cypress trees planted in formation as a living memorial to those who trained at the camp
🏡 A 6,300 sq. ft. visitor center serving as an educational hub and Conservancy headquarters, designed by
🛝 A custom-designed playground inspired by themes of Camp Logan

Construction begins in 2026, with completion slated for 2027. Memorial Groves will be a 100-acre transformation honoring Memorial Park’s World War I heritage and a powerful space for reflection, learning, and community connection.

We’ve officially topped out on our Rice University College Towers project, featuring College 12 with 12 floors and College 13 with 11 floors, totaling 313,650 SF! These towers will house 375 dorm rooms, complete with a full-size servery and kitchen, a green roof terrace, an athletic court, and magister homes at each college. We are currently making strides on the building façade and interior buildout after topping out this September. Stay tuned for more progress updates as we build this vibrant new community!
