Picnic in the Park is back for its second year! Local organizations come together to provide families with free activities, resources and opportunities to connect. We look forward to seeing everyone again on June 22 at the Eyman Park Splash Pad.

The event begins with a 10:30 AM wellness walk. We will share more on that tomorrow! Be sure to check back!

🎓 Alumni Spotlight: William (Bill) Showman

Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies, 2007

Bill Showman didn't just earn a degree at Ohio University Chillicothe — he found his calling. 💚

Now a mental health leader in Ross County, Bill says his OHIO education means one thing above all else: connection.

"Connection to information, to culture, to colleagues, to mentors, to community."

Bill earned two master's degrees from Ohio University and has spent his career advocating for veterans, people with disabilities, and mental health in our community.

This June, he's helping host the Fourth Annual South Central Ohio Prevention Conference at OHIO Chillicothe with the theme "Someone Showed Up."

That's exactly what Bill has done.
